Los Angeles duo Soft Swells was formed in 2009 of former solo artist Tim Williams and former Phonograph member Matt Welsh. The duo's self-titled debut, recorded with producer Dave Lynch, will be out on February 28 via Modern Outsider Records. “Put It On The Line” is a glimpse of the album – a layered, propulsive indie-pop number that grapples with revealing one’s true feelings for another.
