NEW MARK MALLMAN/CRAIG FINN TRACK ON PITCHFORK!

Head over to PITCHFORK and check out the brand new MARK MALLMAN track "YOU'RE NEVER ALONE IN NEW YORK" featuring Craig Finn of the Hold Steady. The song is from Mark's upcoming hot new album 'INVINCIBLE CRIMINAL'. Finn, a longtime friend of Mark's who also released Mark’s ‘Besides the B-sides’ on his Crisp Songs label in 2004, lends his voice to The Mallman's new "electro-tinged piano rocker". Mark Mallman, who is also frontman for Ruby Isle and holds the World Record for Longest Song with his Marathon2 performance (52+ hours!), will release 'Invincible Criminal' this August on BADMAN RECORDING Co.

MARK MALLMAN TEAMS UP WITH CRAIG FINN (HOLD STEADY) AND SHANNON FRID (CLOUD CULT) FOR NEW ALBUM

Written in the haunted basement of a converted church and inspired by a ghostly apparition of Elvis, ‘INVINCIBLE CRIMINAL’ is the newest full length from musical genius MARK MALLMAN. Available early this August on BADMAN RECORDING CO (My Morning Jacket, Starf*cker), it will feature longtime friend and HOLD STEADY singer CRAIG FINN contributing vocals on "You're Never Alone in New York”, and CLOUD CULT violinist SHANNON FRID duets on "In These Times of Harsh Economy", a chilling ballad about John Dillenger's Lady in Red, Anna Sage.

"In the past three years, I've tasted death one too many times to let a minute slip through my fingers anymore. Don't be confused, the Invincible Criminal isn't me, it's time,” he says.

Mark Mallman is known as many things: The Fastest Piano in the Midwest, Ruby Isle front man, an insanely gifted performer who has toured the USA a staggering 23 times, the notable Mr Serious, and as the World Record holder for Longest Song Performed (Marathon 2 at 52 hrs!). First and foremost, Mark is an amazing songwriter who pens lyrics like an existentialist writer and as a must-see performer, he plays the piano with the type of ferocity that others take to playing an electric guitar leaving live audiences in awe at every single one of his shows. Mark's on tour this summer showcasing new songs, tour dates surrounding the August release tba.
