Something Like Blood, available from Amble Down Records on September 28th
Amble Down Records is excited to announce the pre-order availability of Meridene's outstanding sophomore release, Something Like Blood, and with the news, are giving away the album's second single, "Parade of Fools." Recorded by Meridene at Bon Iver's April Base home-studio, Something Like Blood was produced by Peter Wolf Crier's Brian Moen who also mixed the album, and mastered by TW Walsh. Meridene released the album's first single, "Gone, Baby Gone," last month to an outstanding response! KDHX call Meridene "Part Shins pop, part pre-flame out Strokes" while Volume One hails the band's upcoming release as "entirely fresh."
The Eau Claire four-piece has also been out on a handful of regional tour dates as of late, showcasing their new songs along with faves from their debut You're Not Pretty, You're Worse. They've worked up a fun video tour diary, documenting their trip thus far, which can be watched Here. Meridene will be making their way to the East Coast this Fall in support of Something Like Blood (see dates below with more to come).
