Next Monday, Nov. 8^th, the band will once again appear on Last Call with Carson Daly, performing “Silver Tiles,” which was taped at their sold-out LA show at the Henry Fonda Theater last month. In addition, Matt and Kim will be hosting an exclusive two hour-long guest DJ session on Sirius XMU each morning during the week of Nov. 1^st from 9am-11am EST.

Sidewalks features 10 original tracks and was recorded in Atlanta, GA and New York City during the spring and summer of 2010. Its release follows the exclusive iTunes pre-sale, which began October 5^th and saw the album soar immediately to Top 50 on the iTunes Top 200 chart and to Top 10 on iTunes Alternative chart. 2010 has already been a whirlwind year for Matt and Kim, who, after recording Sidewalks, went on to perform prime-time sets and headlining slots at major festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Siren, Virgin FreeFest, The Bamboozle and most recently, Austin City Limits. They are currently on a two-month headlining tour of North America, which kicked off this past September and finds Matt and Kim playing to sold-out crowds nightly in their biggest venues yet.

Wallpaper's frontman Ricky Reed (aka multi-instrumentalist Eric Frederic) led his Oakland duo through energetic electro-R&B jams about getting wasted and getting it on, songs that became instant sing-alongs on his home turf. But while the suit 'n' tied crooner moved Saturday's enthusiastic early arrivers through the basics of pre-partying ("Gettin Drip'"), the merits of Two-Buck Chuck and dating models ("Ddd"), and teasingly offered birthday boys and girls "hella drugs and booze up at the merch booth," he also encouraged the crowd to carpool responsibly. "If you're going to have promiscuous sex, don't have it on the island," he quipped. "Have it on the bus, on the way back to your car."
