GOLDENBOY are releasing their gorgeous new lp 'Sleepwalker' this week on Eenie Meenie Records and celebrating with a free Listening Party album stream all week at Spinner.com. Last week, the site featured the simply beautiful video for the album's title track as Video Of The Day which can be seen HERE

Led by Shon Sullivan (Spain, Elliott Smith) Goldenboy is also on a great West Coast tour now where they are showcasing new songs along with faves from Goldenboy's critically acclaimed 'Underneath The Radio' and 'Blue Swan Orchestra.'  Along the way, they've been having some fun with tour videos which you can watch HERE and  HERE.  A February 25th Record Release show at Hotel Cafe will welcome Goldenboy back home for a short time before the band heads out next month for more touring and shows at SXSW.  Hope to see you out there!

GOLDENBOY DEBUT "SLEEPWALKER" VIDEO, LAUNCH TOUR

Goldenboy's debut video "Sleepwalker" for their awesome new album of the same premieres this week as Video Of The Day on Spinner.com !  In a rare case of video coming before a song, it was long lost 16mm film footage of a magical seaside look at childhood found by Goldenboy Shon Sullivan while on a trip in Italy which inspired him to write the song "Sleepwalker."

The band is also launching their West Coast tour in support of next week's release of 'Sleepwalker' on Eenie Meenie Records.  All pre-orders come with a free copy of Goldenboy's critically acclaimed 'Underneath The Radio' and ship on Feb 8.  Be sure to get out to see Goldenboy on tour!

WALLPAPER. ANNOUNCE RELEASE OF 'DOODOO FACE' ON EENIE MEENIE RECORDS!

After turning out three outstanding EPs of diced, digital beats and lyrics caricaturing the pop vernacular and hugely popular live shows, the "glitz n grit" champs of the dancefloor WALLPAPER. announce the release of their highly anticipated debut lp 'Doodoo Face'. Written, produced and recorded by the genius and sometime schizo talents of Eric Frederic and beatkeeper Arjun Singh, Wallpaper. present 11 supreme tracks built with percussive funk blurred with huge beats, dark synthesizer blurt and crushing bass topped by the vocals of egomaniac Ricky Reed, all steeped in Eric's oldest influences: P-Funk, Afrobeat, and the panoply of Bay Area rap.

Under the very able hand of Eric, who is entirely ace at merging the organic into the electronic as evidenced by his hot remixes for Passion Pit and Das Racist, 'Doodoo Face' also shows a great move forward in production for Wallpaper. The drums were recorded live with Arjun behind the kit, Eric's on guitar on many of the tracks while the trumpet comes courtesy of Darondo sideman Brian Switzer. 'Doodoo Face' has strains of Justice too, in the seething bass of “Celebrity,” and even Eno in the minimalist pop of “Fine GF.” “Frk Scn” features female vocals and a distinct live Ghanaian rhythm known as “Ewe,” while on “Gettin' Drip” Eric handcrafts his own “chipmunk soul” sample to accompany the chorus. From the cavernous thump and honking sax of opener “Indecent” to the warped hyphy of “ddd” to “Doodoo Face” itself, Wallpaper.s debut full length is dark, nasty, load-bearing booty funk of the Oakland house party variety.
