MATT & KIM killed their headlining set at Siren Festival a few weeks ago and they've just returned from their first ever trip to Japan where they made the hugest of impressions at Fuji Rocks, Japan's biggest outdoor music festival. This Friday Matt & Kim head to Lollapalooza for a 5pm set at the Adidas stage. Don't you miss them! Stay tuned as we'll have news on their new record soon soon!

After a string of packed headlining shows on the west coast, Bay Area duo WALLPAPER are excited to head out and heat up dancefloors on the east coast and midwest before winding their way back home to play this year's Treasure Island Festival. Wallpaper's brand new single "Valentine" can be heard on Tap Tap Revenge and is available this week on iTunes!

Russian-born NY-based artist Alina Simone has her brand new full length 'Make Your Own Danger' at the ready and will be showcasing her amazing new songs along with tracks from her critically praised back catalog. 'Make Your Own Danger', written and performed by Alina and produced by Steve Revitte (Yeasayers, Black Dice, Liars) is follow up to Alina's acclaimed 'Everyone Is Crying Out To Me, Beware' full length of Russian covers of punk icon Yanka Dyagaleva. Always bold and mesmerizing onstage, this is her only Fall performance in the city.

Wallpaper's mix of hyphy and serious talent have them lauded as the hottest thing coming from the West Coast! Touring now in support of their fun, new concept album 'Doodoo Face', the Bay Area duo are bringing the dance party to CMJ and performing with FULL BAND! In the studio it is producer/remix master Eric Frederic (Combination Pizza Hut & Taco Bell) who creates the funk and the flair, while onstage it is the theatrics of his charismatic, sequined alter-ego Ricky Reed who brings Wallpaper's pop culture fresh tracks to life alongside drummer Arjun Singh. DIGNAN ANNOUNCE RELEASE OF DEBUT LP ‘CHEATERS & THIEVES’

Dignan announce the release of their highly anticipated debut LP ‘Cheaters & Thieves’ and a massive US tour in support. The McAllen, TX group set out on a vast six month tour in late 2007/08 with their impressive self-released EP “The Guest’ in hand and went from virutal unknowns, who early on sat with their guitars in empty church vestibules writing their songs, to a mega touring band selling out the initial pressing of the EP and gaining a huge following along the way. While taking their Cursive-meets-Arcade Fire sound across the US, Dignan shared the stage with the likes of Plain White T's, Ra Ra Riot and Color Revolt as well as hitting festivals like South by Southwest and Cornerstone where they played to thousands, furthering building their fanbase and proving their are a band to watch.

Earlier this year, Dignan took some time off from touring and poured their hearts into a DIY effort of great proportion in creating ‘Cheaters & Thieves’. Lead singer/guitarist Andy notes that in the process, “Each song just sort of came together on their own. All of the themes in each of these songs are things that really tug at my heart; infidelity, the search for life’s answers, the struggle between right and wrong. We added a lot of group vocals, and a lot of layering of different vocals. I recorded guitars with multi mic setups which I'd never done." The record was mixed at Premium Recordings in Austin where they also recently returned to play the Pachanga Festival with a memorable performance which left one reviewer heralding Dignan saying, “Mark our words, these youngsters are going places”. And the result has already gained the attention of Paste Magazine where the album’s first single “Two Steps”, through popular vote, earned a place on the Paste/Heineken CD Sampler.

A tremendous three month tour in support kicks off with a hometown record release show at Cine El Rey on the 26th and includes summer festival appearances at Cornerstone and D Fest.
